Friday, December 15th, 2017 Room 4 Newsletter Dear Families, This week was a fantastic week in kindergarten! This week your scholars became “winter kindergarteners” and are really growing up. We have higher expectations for winter kinders. While the winter kindergarteners have lots more fun opportunities they also have more responsibilities. Attached are the kindergarten rules which they are responsible to know and follow. Our Christmas Program is this upcoming Wednesday, December 20th at 6:00PM and all families are invited to attend. Remember formal Christmas attire must be worn by students at the Christmas program. Boys can wear black dress slacks and nice red shirts (preferably button ups) Girls can wear red dresses/skirts or nice pants. No sneakers or jeans can be worn to the event. Christmas is just around the corner and your young scholars are feeling the the holiday joy! We are having a Christmas party on December 21th at 10:00 am, hosted by our wonderful room moms and we would love for families to join us. The perfect time for your student to give their friends Christmas goodies and share holiday treats would be during the Christmas party. All students are invited to wear a christmas themed free dress and accessories. Santa shop will be this upcoming Monday. If you would like to send your scholar to school with some money they can buy Christmas gifts. I am looking forward to seeing you and your families at all of the upcoming Christmas events. I pray you and your families have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Blessings, Ms. Sanders Room 4 Kindergarten Rules The Rules Are to Keep Us Safe Rule #1: Follow Directions Quickly! Friday, December 8th, 2017 Room 4 Newsletter Dear Families, On Sunday, December 10th at 8:00 am there will be a pancake breakfast and time to take a photo with Santa! The santa shop is coming up! This is an event for which students can be sent to school with money to purchase gifts for others. The 'shop' is run by parent/family volunteers and the kindergarten class will visit on Monday, December 18th. Our school winter concert is Wednesday, December 20th at 6:15 pm. We will be singing “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” as a class and “Joy to the World” with the whole school. Please have all scholars dressed in red tops and black bottoms if your scholar would like to wear a red dress or skirt that would be great too. Our Christmas class party hosted by our wonderful room parents will be the following day, Thursday, December 21st at 10 am. All families are welcome to come and enjoy. If you have any questions about the party please look at the kindergarten social website on our shutterfly account. Remember all kindergarteners must know how to tie their shoes to receive the big surprise at the christmas party so keep practicing! Advent blessings, Ms. Sanders |
